My first pair of panties!

Ive had a really good day today because I made my first ever pair of panties with help from the lovely Becci Bayliss and you can visit her website here. She is amazing and such an inspiration to me and other people. She kindly taught me how to make them and also gave me the fabric to make them which was WATERMELONS! I love the fabric and I cannot wait to make my own panties independently now. People have already asked me if I can make some for them so they can buy them off me. I have learnt a lot today to do with marketing too on how to get yourself out there when being freelance in the fashion industry and also how all the money works. I know it will take a lot of hard work for me to get myself out there when I start making more clothes but I am determined and I will get there one day! Here's a photo of the panties I made :)

My first MAC purchases!

I have wanted to wear MAC make up for a very long time but I never really had the money to wear such expensive make up but now I have a job I thought I would treat myself and start wearing it. I didn't think much of it until I went shopping up Birmingham and decided to go into Selfridges to the MAC stall and try it out. I also love it because it's such a good quality brand and that's what I need. I haven't brought much at the minute but I know my collection will get bigger soon!

I am not very good with choosing the right colour for me so the reason I tried it out first was so I didn't spend £20 on the wrong one. This was the one that the woman tested on me and I am quite pale so that's why I have to have such a light powder. This cost me £20 and it is the studio fix foundation powder. 

My first ever MAC lipstick. I cannot wait to order more lipsticks!!!! I absolutely love this one, I love dark shades of pink so I got this one, this cost me £15 from the website and it is the Craving colour. My next lipstick that I get will probably be a baby pink. So excited to purchase more make up from MAC :)

I'm back!

Well, the past few months have been amazing for me, and I have had so much going on, that's why I haven't been on here at all. I have been very busy with college and with my family and friends.

First of all, I GOT INTO UNIVERSITY! I have got my conditional offers at Nottingham Trent University and University of Northampton but Northampton is my firm choice. Obviously I need the grades to get in completely but I am positive about all of it and I am going to work extra hard to get the grades I need. When I received the letter from both Universities I was so speechless because I was so shocked and happy at the same time. However, college has been very stressful especially with my job on top of it. Oh, yes, that's another thing. I got myself a part time job at Wetherspoons!!!!!!!!!! I pretty much hate being at work now after 4 months of working there but don't most people hate their job? I love the majority of the people there but it does add stress on top of my college work which really gets to me sometimes because my career comes first.

Secondly, I met someone, Nathan, and I am such a lucky girl to have him in my life. He makes me the happiest girl on earth and I can't imagine my life without him now, he is perfect.

Christmas!!!!!!!! I was absolutely spoiled for it by my friends, family and boyfriend, I had over £700 to spend on myself including a £250 River Island gift card that my boyfriend got me. When he told me he got me that I could not believe it (I am obsessed with River Island so I almost cried). So guess what I did? That's right, I went on a mad shopping spree. I will show you all what I've brought myself over the past couple of months in a future post but for now, HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)
